Warehouse assessment

Basic-Fit, headquartered in Hoofddorp, Netherlands, is Europe’s largest gym chain, operating over 1,500 clubs in six countries and serving about 4.5 million members. To deepen its offering beyond gym access, Basic-Fit launched NXT Level, its own sports-nutrition brand. NXT Level volume is growing and has different routes to market: retail, E commerce and via their Basic-Fit gyms.

Challenge
4Supplychain was asked to  perform an assessment on the current warehouse set up and related processes from inbound till outbound. Since NXT level volumes were growing significantly we analysed if their warehousing and distribution set up was able to facilitate the expected volume increases within several channels.
