Rituals, founded in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is a leading global lifestyle and cosmetics brand. The company offers a wide range of products inspired by ancient Eastern traditions, including skincare, body care, home fragrances, perfumes, and teas. Rituals focuses on creating meaningful routines and blends luxury with sustainability across its retail operations and supply chain processes.
Challenge
As part of the strategic Greater China Program, aimed at driving growth and expansion in the Chinese market, 4SupplyChain was engaged to support Rituals with the selection and implementation of a new Order Management System (OMS) for the region. The main challenge was to identify a suitable local technology partner and deliver end-to-end implementation that seamlessly integrated with Rituals’ existing global system landscape – all within a tight timeframe.
Solution and deliverables
Working closely with global and local teams, we supported the project from partner selection through go-live. A key part of this process involved gathering and aligning requirements from multiple stakeholder domains, including IT, logistics, retail operations, and e-commerce, to ensure the system design reflected both global standards and local market needs.
- Conducted market research and vendor assessment to select a suitable local OMS partner.
- Facilitated design workshops to define key business processes, system configuration, and integration requirements.
- Supported the development and implementation phase to translate functional designs into a fully operational solution.
- Coordinated and executed comprehensive testing and go-live preparation activities
- Successfully delivered a fully functional OMS within eight months (January – August 2025), establishing a solid foundation for Rituals’ continued growth in the China region.
