We design and implement S&OP processes and provide professionals to support companies with interim S&OP management. S&OP is a key aspect of 4Supplychain services and plays an important role in company operations, especially in the current business environment.

Here are some common scenarios where we’ve recently supported clients:

  • Implementing a new S&OP cycle: Set up the meeting cycle, reporting, and dashboards. Our professionals can consult and collaborate with clients to run the cycle. We are strong in advise but also on the implementation.

  • Advancing the current S&OP cycle: Organisations may struggle to improve their S&OP cycle. Although they implemented S&OP they still struggle to control KPI’s like their service level and appropriate stock levels. Our interim professional can drive changes and answer questions regarding process, tooling, or organisational adjustments, including implementation.

  • Filling crucial roles: If your company needs temporary help, we can take over key positions.

  • Selection S&OP software: We offer extensive knowledge on S&OP tooling and (pragmatic) advice. Whether you’re starting your S&OP journey or already have mature processes, we can recommend suitable tools. This starts from creation of requirements till selection of software providers.

How we work:

Four steps to a suitable candidate

In our extensive network there is always a candidate who is well suited to fill your supply chain vacancy on an interim basis. To find the best candidate for you, we take the following four steps.

1. Profile

In a meeting with you, we draw up a profile for the ideal candidate. We discuss what expectations you have of the candidate in terms of experience and personality, the tasks he or she will perform and the scope of the position. We discuss what challenges there are within your company's supply chain, what the industry-specific challenges are, and whether there are certain changes that need to be made.

2. Introduction

We look for the best match within our team or our extensive network of independent professionals. We then provide you with the profiles of the most suitable candidates.

You will meet with the candidates and select the candidate who best fits within your team.

3. Onboarding

We coordinate the onboarding process and together ensure that the new interim professional has a successful start within the supply chain team in your company. In doing so, we align expectations and put concrete agreements and goals on paper.

4. Success

During a periodic follow-up we discuss how the candidate is performing in the interim position. Are you satisfied, is the professional satisfied and are the objectives met? Together we will ensure that the interim period runs successfully. Are you still not satisfied? Then we will decide together how to improve the situation.
